Most men were never really taught what to do with emotions.
So we push them down, get busy, shut down, snap at the wrong person, or tell ourselves to just get over it.
But emotions aren’t the problem.
They’re information.
This session is about understanding what emotions are actually trying to tell us — without getting lost in them or pretending they’re not there.
We’ll explore how emotions like anger, frustration, sadness, overwhelm, and resentment can point to something deeper. Sometimes they show us where a boundary has been crossed. Sometimes they reveal something we’ve been avoiding. Sometimes they simply show us that we’ve been carrying too much for too long.
This isn’t about sitting around talking feelings for the sake of it.
It’s about learning how to understand yourself better, so emotions don’t have to come out sideways or run the show.
We’ll look at:
why emotions show up the way they do
what anger, frustration, sadness, or overwhelm might be pointing to
how emotions affect relationships, decisions, and behaviour
how to respond with more awareness instead of reacting automatically
As always, this is a grounded space for honest conversation and practical insight. There’s no pressure to share — just the opportunity to step back, reflect, and understand yourself more clearly.
If you’ve ever felt like your emotions come out sideways, this session will give you something useful to work with.
